Obituary:
William "Thomas" Johnson, 90, of Danville KY, passed away Wednesday January 28, 2015 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. He was preceded in death by his wife Hallie Graham Johnson. Thomas was born March 13, 1924 in Gravel Switch Ky to the late Jesse Alex and Rogie Daugherty Johnson.
He was a member of Danville Church of Christ. Thomas formerly was a member of Sycamore Church of Christ for many years.
Surviving is a son Alex Johnson(Kay) of Danville; a daughter Deborah Johnson of Danville; one brother Paul Johnson; two sisters Barbara Engle and Betty Kolb; and a granddaughter Kaylee Johnson.
Along with his wife and parents, Thomas was preceded in death by three brothers: Terry, Leroy, and J.A. Johnson and three sisters: Beatrice Lane, Ethel Wilson, and Margaret Ellis.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday January 31, 2015 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Mark Russell, Scott Vifquain, and Mike Estes officiating.
Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation Friday 5-9 PM.
Active Pallbearers are Clay Sweeney, Ben Sweeney, Andrew Wyatt, John Wyatt, Hagan Gerlach, and Roger Johnson.
Honorary pallbeaers are Bill Releford, Eddie Caldwell, Wayne Thurman, Harold Godbey, and Randy Ratliff.
