Timothy Wayne Jones,45, of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in Elizabethtown. He was born in Fayette County to Shafter Jones and the late Janice Watkins Jones.
He was a carpet technician for Stanley Steemer and a member of the Baptist faith. Timothy loved to fish, all UK athletics, Cleveland Browns, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons: Justin Michael (Tiffany) Jones of Lancaster and Corey Allen (Crystal) Jones of Nicholasville; a sister, Tammy Johnston (Mark) of Paris; grandchildren: Alexis, Carson, Carter, and Maddox Jones; and two nieces: Farren and Sara Rowland.
Timothy was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Watkins Jones and two grandchildren: Jaxon and Annistyn Jones.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday, March 28, 2016 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kendall Dismeaux officiating. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Sunday, March 27, 2016 from 6-9 PM.
Pallbearers are Mark Johnston, Mark Ayers, Jeff Ellis, Johnny Mitchell, Joe Collins, and Todd Young.
