Sue Kellner

Sue D. Kellner, 97, of Mills River, died peacefully on Friday, September 21, 2012, surrounded by her family at her son's home. A native of Wayne County, KY, she was born on October 25, 1914, to the late, Thomas Jefferson Dunagan and Hatha Sellers Smith Dunagan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry William Kellner.
At a young age Sue's parents and family moved to Hustonville, KY, so the children could attend school. She was a graduate of Hustonville High School. A wonderful mother and homemaker, she also was very active in assisting her husband in his law office. After coming to Hendersonville she became a member of West Hendersonville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her four children, Hatha L. Dodge of Mills River, Thomas H. Kellner and his wife, Connie, of Mills River, Robert T. Kellner and his wife, Zuli, of York, PA; Emily T. Warthen and her husband Wake of Franklin, TN; her three grandchildren, Susan B. Justice and her husband, John, of Naples, Wake Lee Warthen, II of Franklin, TN, Weiyuan of York, PA; one great-grandson, Jake Thomas Justice of Naples and several nephews.
The family would like to extend their upmost gratitude to the staff at Four Seasons Compassion for Life, Memory Care and Alzheimer's Association for their love and support.
A private burial will take place at Danville Memorial Gardens in Danville, KY, at a later date.
