Obituary:
Shannon Curtis, 53, of Chenault Bridge Road passed away at her home April 5, 2015. She was born December 16, 1961 in Boyle County to Marcus Edward Underwood and the late Rosemary Dalton Underwood. Shannon was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Curtis.
Shannon worked many years for the Danville Family Physicians and was a homemaker. She was a member of Burgin Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son Kyle Curtis (Kimberly) of Richmond, Ky; a daughter Kayla Mount (Tony) of Louisville, Ky; a brother Darrell Underwood (Beckie) of Danville; and a grandchild Dixon Mount.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Carl McCray officiating. Burial will be Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 6-9 PM.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Underwood, Chase Abbott, Chris Underwood, Jared Reinsmith, Dathan Underwood, Doug Underwood, and Lawrence Underwood. Honorary pallbearer will be Marcus Dean Foster.
