Randall Gene “Randy” Phillips, 59, died Friday, August 7, 2020 in Lexington, Kentucky. Born August 2, 1961 in Boyle County, Kentucky to Elizabeth Mae and the late Herbert Lee Phillips. Randy was a member at 1st Church of God, he loved political debates, riding his motorcycle, go skiing, and spend time with his family who he loved dearly. He was actively involved in his grandkids lives and known as Pa-Paw. He was a man who honored his word and loved his family dearly. Randy is predeceased by his father, Herbert Lee Phillips.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Keisha Phillips of Parksville, Kentucky; son, Adam Lee Wilson; daughter, Kristin Dawn Minix; brothers, James Lee Phillips of Parksville, Kentucky, Christopher Lee Phillips of Alum Springs, Kentucky, Christopher Lee Phillips II; sisters, Sherry (Marvin) Turpin of Alum Springs, Kentucky, Linda Marie Phillips of Danville, Kentucky, Teresa (Ken) McQueary; grandchildren, Zacc Lynn, Keirra Wilson, Kayla Wilson, Brent Minix, Jareet Minix, Kaydence Wilson; great-grandchildren, Zoey Redden; and a bonus brother, Chaz Finley.

Services will be held 1 pm, Thursday, August 12, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Rev. Kevin Cummins will be officiating. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Chaz Finley, James Phillips, Zacc Lynn, Troy Turpin, Lee Phillips, Isaiah Phillips, Jay Crowe II and Ricky Ragel.  Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Phillips, Nicholas Phillips and Jarrod Phillips.  Visitation will be held 4 pm – 8 pm, Wednesday, August 13, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Memorial donations are suggested to the Danville-Boyle Co. Humane Society.
