Peggy Ann Catlett Harmon, 72, of Junction City, died Thursday. Born July 26, 1939, in Mercer Co., she was the daughter of the late Ralph Davis and Maudie Adkinson Catlett. Peggy was a homemaker and the widow of Carl Thomas Harmon.
She is survived by three daughters, Katheryn (Bryan) Carman, Johanna (Warren) King, Patty (Dwight) Coontz, five sons, Byford (Sherri) Hurst, John (Mary) Hurst, Jeff (Penny) Hurst, Carl Gene (Rita) Harmon, and Thomas Lee Harmon; twenty grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, and a brother, Bobby (Elise) Catlett. She was predeceased by two sisters, Bonnie Dunsmore and Kathy Yvonne Catlett, and a brother, Samuel Catlett.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home and Family Center in Junction City. Bro. Dale Denton will officiate. Pallbearers will be Todd Hurst, William Harmon, Bryan Harmon, Adam Harmon, Alex Harmon, Mark Wilson, Michael Wilson, Donnie King, Brad Luttrell, Josh Hurst, Joey Hurst and Zachary Carman. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Sunday at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Interment will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
