Patty Clouse

Patty Clouse, 69, of Danville, passed away May 11, 2021 at her home. She was born on February 25, 1952 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Allen and Evelyn Risner Hicks. Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Clouse, Sr and siblings, Elizabeth Fraley and Birchel Hicks and special fur baby, Pocket.

Patty was a homemaker all her life, she enjoyed making jewelry, watching soap operas, going to yard sales, flea markets and shopping. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids and big family gatherings, especially Christmas. She collected teacup sets and piano babies. She loved plants and flowers of all kinds and loved country and gospel music. She will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smiles, sense of humor, generosity, loving personality and her open door that was used by many who received unconditional love, help and support as they need it.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Zabolski of Danville, Elizabeth Cole of Danville, and Jaime Smith (Willie) of Danville, a son, Clayton Clouse, Jr. of Central City, sister, Johanna Maiden of Pikeville, brother, Ricky Hicks (Kathleen) of Indiana, grandchildren, Melissa Lamb, Alexander Zabolski, Allyson Rowe, Abigail Rowe, Matthew Smith, Brennon Hires and Crystal Fraley, ten great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, Alexander, Aaron and Clarissa Cole and Catherine Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10am Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Preston Pruitt  Spurlin Funeral Home with Rev. Ashley Kidd officiating. Burial in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, May 14, 2021 from 5-8pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Willie Smith, Robert Mooney, Chris Lamb, Jeremiah Dorton, Jacob Dorton, Michael Mitchell, Tyler Whitis, Alexander Zabolski, and Matthew Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jayce Lamb, Doug Goble, Jimmy Darrell Combs, and Brennon Hires.
