DANVILLE: Nicholas Austin Daugherty, 20, passed away Tuesday January 21, 2014. Nick was born December 18, 1993, the son of James Wayne and Sandy Moss Daugherty and the grandson of David Graham and Cheryl Darlene Moss.
Nick grew up attending Southside Christian Church in Mercer County and enjoyed playing video games, watching movies, being outdoors, hiking and swimming in the summertime.
Nick was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Garland Ousley and Christine Elizabeth Daugherty.
Funeral service will be 11:00a.m. Saturday January 25, 2014, at Preston Pruitt Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew K. Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will Jeff Stephens, Alex Fowler, Jacob Daugherty, Adam Daugherty, Dave Christopher, and Bill Dawson.
Honorary bearers will be Jennifer Norris, D.J. Daugherty, Ashley Daugherty, Emily Daugherty, and Caleb Miller.
