Mildred Hardy

Mildred Marcella Downey Hardy, 79, of Danville passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015. Born October 10, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Glen Chester Downey and Mae Garland Bayne. She worked in long term care as a licensed practical nurse. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Virgil Hardy; two daughters: Beverly (Joe) Cooper of Lincoln County and Pat (Terry) Walston of Lebanon; two sons: Glen and Jim Hardy, both of Greenville, OH; two brothers: Art Downey of Greenville, OH and George Downey of Sharonville, OH; thirteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 pm, Sunday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Bro. Eric Douglas with burial in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 5-8 pm, Saturday and 1-2 pm, Sunday.
