Margaret Brown

Margaret Elizabeth Brown, 71, of Stanford died Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. She was born December 11, 1938 in Stanford to the late James Edward and Sarah Lee Dawson Plummer. She was a member of Gilbert's Creek Baptist Church and had worked at American Greetings in Danville for 12 years.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Randall Brown of Stanford; a daughter, Anna Lee Wethington (Steve) of Hustonville, KY and a son Randall Wayne Brown (Lynda) of Brodhead, KY; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 p.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home, Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Reverend Morris Trayner will be officiating the service. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.

Casketbearers will be Chris Cross, Eric Davidson, Jacob Wethington, Zac Harper, Ricky Boyd, James Plummer, Kenny Ray Plummer and Willie Naylor.

Memorials in Leiu of flowers may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
