Lula Maddox Wright May, 86, of Danville, formerly of Butchertown, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009.
Born Nov. 4, 1922, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Curtsinger Maddox. She was a homemaker and a member of Junction City First Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Sue Smock and Mary Burger, both of Danville, and Jean Burge of Indiana; a brother, Hurshel Maddox of Butchertown; 21 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Wright and Charles May; and three daughters, Ruth Ann Hundley, Belle Mattingly and Louise Conaster.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Bro. Dale Denton, with burial in Danville Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Vance, Kelly and Tim Curtsinger, Frank Mattingly, Bobby, Delbert, Michael and Allen Maddox and Gary Rothwell.
