Age: 56

Jerry Wright, 56, of Danville, KY passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at home. Born May 30, 1960 in Somerset, KY, he was the son of the late Steven and Oda Fern Mink Wright. He was a retired employee of Seller's Engineering where he worked as a welder for most of his life. He was also a member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 191/2 years; Della Wright of Danville, KY, one son; Eric Wright of Somerset, KY, one daughter; Tiffany Wright of Junction City, KY, two step-sons; Tim Shelton (Monica) of Corbin, KY, Jay Shelton of Lexington, KY, one step-daughter; Tina Webb (John) of Corbin, KY, one brother; Jessie Wright (Connie) of Florida, fourteen grandchildren, and one niece; Mandi Price of Somerset, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents and one step-grandchild; Tristan Shelton.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 5-9pm at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford. Funeral service will be 1pm Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the funeral home with Reverend Junior Fields officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens in Danville, KY. Casket bearers will be: Tim Shelton, Jay Shelton, Laythan Mullins, Austin Webb, John Webb, Eric Wright, and Jake Buttery.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to Spurlin Funeral Home, Stanford as donations for funeral expenses.
