James Edward Scharbrough Age: 80 Visitation: Wednesday, 5-8 pm at Spurlin Funeral Home Funeral Service: Thursday, 2 pm at Spurlin Funeral Home Interment: Danville Memorial Gardens James Scharbrough, 80, of Stanford died Monday at his home. Born July 11, 1928 in Connersville, Ohio he was the son of the late Henry and Sarah Allen Scharbrough. He was a machinist and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years Nancy Reed Scharbrough; 5 sons Joseph Henry, Robert Lee, Eddie Ray, Troy James and Phillip Scharbrough; 4 daughters Mary Turner, Brenda Goldsborough, Linda C. Durham and Johnnie Lou Mason; 4 brothers Jake, John, Sam and Charles Scharbrough; one sister Christine Terry; 24 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several neices and nephews.
