Frances Wilson 1922-2009
Frances Marie Glover Wilson, 86, died Feb. 18, 2009, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born March 20, 1922, in Owensboro, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Jesse Clyde Meredith Glover. She was the widow of Forest Wilson, attended Junction City Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Donald E. (Patricia Ann) Wilson and John D. (Patricia Ann) Wilson, both of Danville; two daughters, Jefferi (Ted K.) Murphy of Liberty, Ky., and Sharon "Sissie" (Ricky) Collier of Madison, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Donna Wilson, Stephanie Raispis, Amy Matthews, Ben Murphy, Lori Pierce, Rachel Wilson, Ketia Zuckschwerdt and Brent Collier; and nine great-grandchildren, Sara P. Wilson, John Thomas and Jesse Clyde Matthews, Edward, Stanley and Jody Raispis, Natalie and Landon Pierce and Sydney Zuckschwerdt.
The funeral service will be 3 Saturday p.m. at Stith Funeral Home with Father Patrick Fitzsimons as Celebrant. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Stith Funeral Home.
The family requests memorial donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital
