Eva Mae Whitehouse Hood, 85, of Danville, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Born November 1, 1927, to the late James Mose and Grace Thompson Whitehouse, she was the widow of John Earl Hood. She worked as a fitter for the Palm Beach Company.

Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Joyce (Raymond) Kelley of Junction City, a son, James E. (Debbie) Hood of Danville, three grandchildren, Jennifer Hood, Danielle (Dan) Burke and John Kelley and six great-grandchildren, Austin, Natalee, Andrew, Peyton, Hayden and Landrey. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Raymie Kelley.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 pm at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City, Ky. Rev. Ernest Fields Jr. and Brother Harley Humfleet will officiate. Visitation will be Friday after 5 pm in Junction City, Ky. Interment will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorial donations to WDFB Radio or Pleasant Run Baptist Church.
