Eugenia Young, 92, of Burlington KY, formerly of Lancaster, died Wednesday at her home. She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Ray Young Sr. Born in Lincoln Co. KY to the late Eugene and Mary Brown Good. Eugenia worked at Cowden Manufacturing, and The York Casket Co. She was a member of the Lancaster Christian Church and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class.


Surviving are two sons Lawrence Ray Young Jr.(JoAnn) of Burlington KY, and Bobby Young(Nancy) of Lancaster. Two daughters Shirley Coyle(Joe), Debbie Rhodus(Steve) both of Lancaster, two sisters, Sue Osborne(Edward) of Louisville KY, Margaret Lunsford of Union KY, and a brother Billy Good(Kathy) of RIchmond. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great- grandchildren, eleven great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Along with her husband and parents Eugenia is preceded in death by three brothers, Bowen, Gene, Joe, a daughter Betty Mae Christopher, and a grandson Jamin Coyle. Funeral Services 12:30 PM Friday October 19, 2012 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Burton officiating. Visitation 9:30 AM till time of service.


Active pallbearers are Daniel Rhodus, Robby Young, John Owens, Michael Christopher, Jared Coyle, Michael Coyle. Honorary will be members of Lancaster Christian Church Senior Adult Sunday School Class. Burial in Danville Memorial Gardens.
