Eric Reed

Eric Dlynn Reed, 50, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 at U. K.  Chandler Medical Center in Lexington. Born February 18, 1970 in Cincinnati, OH to Patsy Green Reed of Stanford, KY and the late James Howard Reed, he was an employee of TBA Inc. in Harrodsburg, KY, and owner of Reed’s Auto Repair. Eric loved his family, enjoyed off roading, dirt drag racing, asphalt drag racing, and working on cars. He enjoyed vacationing in Pigeon Forge, TN and was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Stanford, KY. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Lisa Bartley Reed of Danville, KY; three sons, E. Dlynn Reed (Carrie) of Waynesburg, KY, Andrew James Reed, and Johnathan Wayne Reed both of Danville, KY; two brothers, Michael Reed (Ellen) of Cincinnati, OH, and Tim Reed (Freida) of Oxford, OH; five grandchildren, Brantley Peyton Reed, Kaydence Marie Reed, Skylar Ann Reed, Levi James Reed, and Vincent Evan Reed; one aunt, Norma Jean Reed Kaelin of Louisville, KY; nine nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Jeffrey Reed. Visitation will be Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Grace Fellowship Church in Stanford from 5-9pm. Funeral service will be 11am Monday, September 21, 2020 at the church with Reverend Vola Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens in Danville, KY. Casket bearers will be: Daniel Reed, Zach Reed, Tim Reed, Andrew Reed, J.W. Reed, Candice Reed, and Michael Reed.
