Elizabeth Duncan

Elizabeth "Betty" Campbell Duncan, 86 of Danville died Tuesday, April 26, 2011. She is the widow of E. G. Duncan. Born November 29, 1924 in North East, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Birdie Campbell, she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and taught nursing at the Danville Practical School of Nursing. She is predeceased by her sister JoAnn Spacht. Survivors include her daughter Judy (Kevin) Ellis of Danville, two grandchildren Katie Ellis and Brandon Ellis both of Danville, brother and sisters-in-laws, Carl Spacht of North East, Pa., Irene Estes of Danville, Mary Alice and Larry Dettiner of Atlanta and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday at Stith Funeral Home of Danville with Brent Rowe officiating. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to Heritage Hospice.
