Elizabeth (Jarvis) Davidson, 76, of Stanford, KY died Friday, January 1, 2010 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born in Garrard County, October 4, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur Finch and Elsie Bates Jarvis.
She was a housewife and attended the Church of God Chapel in Junction City, KY.
Survivors include her husband Robert L. Davidson; a daughter Judy D. Wright of Stanford, KY; a grand daughter Mrs. Carla (Robert) Perry of Salvisa, KY; a brother Melvin L. (Mary) Jarvis of Lapel, IN; two sisters, Mrs. Armetta Louise (James) Pickens of Anderson, IN and Mrs. Elsie Warmoth of Winner, SD. She was preceded in death by a daughter Sheila Davidson on January 28, 1996; a brother Henry T. Jarvis on January 10, 1985; two sisters, Alvena Van Norman on August 10, 2000 and Lorene Hughes on December 21, 2008.
Visitation will be Monday 5-9 pm. Funeral Service will be 2 pm Tuesday, all at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Angela Gellenbeck officiating. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
Casketbearers will be Robert L. Davidson, Robert Perry, Dan Gellenbeck, Randy E. Brown, Toney Samons, and Jim Pickens; Honorary Bearers will be Junior Davidson, Charles E. Walls, and Russell Ramsey.
Memorials in leiu of flowers may be given to Church of God Chapel in care of Dan Gellenbeck, 2900 KY Hwy. 1273, Stanford, KY 40484.
