Dorothy Davenport

Dorothy Hill Davenport of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Clem Hill and Eva Shewmaker Hill, was born April 5, 1932 in Boyle County, Kentucky. She died at 7:30 A.M., Tuesday, January 20, 2015, in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. Age: 82
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Howard W. Davenport December 20, 1947. He preceded her in death August 16, 2008.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Reggie and Betty Jean Davenport of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; three grandchildren: Brenda Jo St. John and husband, John of Corbin, William Edward Davenport and wife, Midori of Bahrain and Paul Davenport and wife, Cathy of Georgetown, Indiana; nine great-grandchildren: Lexi Davenport, Garyth Davenport, Alicia Davenport, Julia Davenport, Andrew Davenport, Sho Davenport, Larry Burns, Richard Burns and Kelly Burns; one sister, Juanita Clark of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and three sisters: Clem Hill, Jr., Louisa Gordon, Idellas Hayes and Jenean Hill.
