Doris Hogue

April 11, 1928 — April 8, 2018

Doris C. Hogue, 89, of Stanford, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Landmark of Lancaster. Born April 11, 1928 in Boyle County, Doris was a daughter of the late Elbert & Alma Crane Coyle. She had been the co- owner of D & H Restaurant and service station at the Kings Mountain Corner for many years with her husband, Herston, was a lifelong member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herston Hogue, a brother, Maurice Coyle, and three sisters, Jewell Crews, Juanita Sweazy & June Hafley.
Her survivors include a son, Denny (Gail) Hogue of Waynesburg, her daughter, Vicki (Kenny) Kinnaird of Lancaster, four grandchildren, Aaron Hogue, Alison Adams, Hayley Hogue & Adaline Hogue, two step grandsons, Aaron & Jonathan Psimer, as well as seven great grandchildren, Trevor , Conner & Gabbie Adams, and Clay, Jenna, Kate & Susana Hogue.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Fairview Baptist Church in Stanford by Revs. Aaron Hogue and Gary King with burial following in Danville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Trevor & Connor Adams, Clay Hogue, Aaron & Jonathan Psimer and Harold Harris, Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may go to the Central Kentucky Fellowship of Christian Athletes, 841 Corporate Dr. Suite 105, Lexington, Ky. 40503
