Age: 56

Danny Lee Curry, 56, of Stanford, KY (formerly of Greensburg, KY) passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born November 16, 1959 in Greensburg, KY to the late Roy and Evelyn Bishop Curry, he had served in the Army National Guard, and was a former employee of Panasonic, Inc. He loved fishing, hunting, dancing, and cooking, and was an avid U.K. sports fan. He was also a member of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife of 8 years; Karen Curry of Stanford, KY, one son; Danny Hartford Curry (Heather Bartman) of Campbellsville, KY, one daughter; Rebecca Nunn (Kenny) of Lily, KY, two step-daughters; Tara Hampton (Zach) and Brittany Caldwell (Dionte) both of Stanford, KY, three brothers, one sister, eight grandchildren (expecting his ninth), several nieces and nephews, and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

A one day service has been scheduled for Friday, January 8, 2016 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm and funeral service will begin at 1pm with Reverend Steve Meece officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens in Danville, KY and casket bearers will be: Steve Collins, Dionte Caldwell, Zach Hampton, Kenny Nunn, Danny Hartford Curry, and Ricky Gene Wright.
