Clay Underwood

Neal Underwood, 75, of Danville died Monday, November 8, 2010. Born October 3, 1935 in Garrard County, he was the son of Lilburn and Myrtie Goins Underwood. He was a member of Indian Hills Christian Church, an avid bowler, loved fishing, but his family always came first. Mr. Underwood retired from Whirlpool after 20 years, he was also a bus driver and custodian with the Boyle County Board of Education for 10 years. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Cox Underwood, a daughter, Lisa (Terry) Cook, a son, Steve (Paula) Underwood, a sister, Lucille (Dave) Gibson, allof Danville, two grandchildren Tanya Underwood (Beau) Bruton and Christopher Cook, a step grandson Blake Barker, and three great grandchildren Brianna, Kaylee, and Mattie Bruton. He was predeceased by two sisters, Sue Wade and Betty Gipson, and a brother, James Allen Underwood. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday at Indian Hills Christian Church with the Revs. Lance Ladd, Mike Crowe and Gary Douglas officiating.
