Charles "Charlie" Bottom

Charles Cecil Bottom, 79, passed away Monday March 22, 2021. He was born in Perryville, Kentucky on June 30, 1941 the son of the late Gilbert Cecil and Martha Frances Butler Bottom and was the loving significant other for 19 years of Nancy Kleckner.
Charlie retired from Whirlpool/Mashusta and was very proud of his 28 years of service. He enjoyed being outdoors where he especially liked fishing, woodworking and farming. Most of all, he loved spending time with his loved ones.
Survivors, in addition to Nancy, include a daughter, Ginger (Jay) Jackson, a son, Eric Bottom, Nancy’s son, Scotty (Jennifer) Chambers, six grandchildren, Kayla Byrd, Maddie Bottoms, Emma Jackson, Avery Jackson, Cade Jackson, Amber (Jason) Selby, and two great grandchildren, Macie Selby and Haley Selby.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Martin and Linda Hillis.
The visitation and funeral service will be Friday March 26, 2021 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to family and friends. The funeral service will be private.
Pallbearers are Eric Bottom, Jay Jackson, Scotty Chambers and Jason Selby.
Memorial contributions are requested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
