Charles Reynolds

Charles "Harrison" Reynolds, 88, of Stanford, KY died Saturday, April 20, 2013, He was born January 21, 1925 in Washington County to the late George and Margaret Cunningham Reynolds. He was the widower of Dorothy Reynolds. He was a former City of Stanford Employee, beginning with the Stanford Water Company in 1971. He was an Army veteran of WWII, a member of Caswell Saufley Post #18 American Legion and was a member of Gilberts Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, George Reynolds (Barbara) of Danville, KY, Charlie Reynolds (Kathy) of Stanford, KY and a daughter, Linda Adams of Stanford, KY; a sister, Hilda Crowley; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 4 step great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Elwood and Avorn Reynolds and an infant sister; Nellie Franies.

Visitation will be Monday, April 22, 2013, from 5-9 pm, funeral service will be Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at 11 am all at Spurlin Funeral Home. Reverend Morris Trayner will be officiating. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Caswell Saufley Post #18 Am. Legion will be presenting Military Honors.
