Charles Pittman

Crab Orchard-- Charlie Franklin Pittman, age 77 passed away on Sunday, September, 16, 2012. He was born in Casey, Co. KY to the late Granville and Mary Coffman Pittman.

Mr. Pittman loved to work in his garden, mow his yard, cut wood, attend yard sales and about anything else outdoors he could do. He was a member of Faith Temple in Stanford, KY.

Along with his loving wife Jennifer Pyle Pittman, he is survived by three sons, William Ray (Tina) Pittman, Vernon Lewis (Connie) Pittman, and James Lewis (Diane) Pittman; three daughters, Mary Ann (Edward) Poff, Betty Jean (Billy) Griffin, and Effie Mae Simpson; two step sons, Chad Anthony (Tonya) Jacobs and James Charles Pittman; four step daughters, Cindy Marie (Scotty) Jacobs, Jacqueline Lynn (Cliff) Price, Shirley (Travis) Jarmon and Lona Loraine Pittman as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday September 19, 2012, at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home with Roger Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 9:00AM until service time at the funeral home.
