Carol Johnson

Carol J. Johnson, 60, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Floyd Memorial Hospital. She worked as a Nurse at Danville Center for Health & Rehab. Carol was a native of Danville, KY.

She is survived by her son Michael B. Garr (Erica) of Lexington, KY.; daughters Tina M. Hunt-Fisher (Alphonzo) of Louisville, KY., Ksandifer D. Johnson-Fields (Damon) of Jeffersonville, IN.; mother Claudine Garr of Danville, KY.; brother Alvin B. Garr of Winston-Salem, NC.; sisters Millie L. Garr of Danville, KY., Sherry D. Hilliard (Henry) of Jeffersonville, IN., Darlene Hurt of Frankfort, KY.; 9 grandchildren.

Carol was preceded in death by her father Derward Garr; sister Gwendolyn Garr; grandson Derward M. Garr.

Funeral service will be held Friday, June 12, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at St. James AME Church in Danville, KY. with burial to follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. to service at the church.
