Carlos Collier, Sr., 81, husband of Chrissy Collier for twenty-nine years, died Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at his home in Stanford. Born June 18, 1940 in Perryville, KY, he was the son of the late Earl D. and Willie Price Collier. He was a retired woodworker and a member of the Willow Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, refinishing furniture, and collecting antiques.
Survivors in addition to his wife are one son: Carlos (Lisa) Collier, Jr., two daughters: Amy Parker and Christa Powell, one brother: Denzil (Kim) Collier of Lancaster, twelve grandchildren: Cara Collier, Robbie (Chelsey) Collier, Ethan Collier, April (Cody) Joyner, Sophie (Kyle) Collier, Faith Collier, Jessica Powell, Terry Powell, Casey Powell, Cameron Parker, Cassidy Parker and Corey Powell, fifteen great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and church family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Duck, Paul and June Collier, one sister: Christine Moore, one son: Sean Powell and one nephew: Wayne Collier.
Funeral services will be conducted. 1:00 P.M., Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Willow Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Johnny Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Danville Memorial Gardens with Cameron Parker, Corey Powell, Kyle Franklin, Cody Joyner, Gordon Wayne Collier and Paul Collier serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Willow Grove Baptist Church, 4306 Stanford Road, Danville, KY 40422.
