Carl Simpson

Carl E. "Flop" Simpson, 67 of Hustonville passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013. Born Sept. 2, 1945, he was the son of the late Gipson Simpson and Mary Brown Terrell. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Simpson. Survivors include his wife, Edith Ross Simpson; daughter, Deidre Simpson; step-daughter, Norma Ingle; grandson, Dustin Ingle; Matty Sinkhorn, who he loved like a granddaughter; and his best friend, Darrell Johnson. Services will be at 1 pm, Tuesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Bro. Harold Harness with burial in Danville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Ray Ross, Dustin Ingle, Glen "Bub" Williams, Koty Carey and Lee Belcher. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Mark Spurlin and Dr. Mark Brunner. Visitation is 10am-1pm, Tuesday.
