Brenda Gayle King Willard, 58, of Danville died Friday, January 13, 2017. Born June 10, 1958 in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Catherine Fletcher King. She attended Parksville School and was a member of the Harrodsburg Church of God. She met many friends through her job as a waitress and loved being helpful to people everywhere. She loved to ride motorcycles, cook for her family and friends and loved her dogs. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Ernie and Bobby King and her late husband, J.T. Willard of Lebanon.
Brenda was survived by her fiance', Larry Emmons of Danville, a daughter, Krescenta Montgomery of Danville; two special people, a step-daughter, Roseanne, who was like a second daughter, and her husband Harvey Stratton of Danville, and a very special friend Krista Kemp of Lebanon; three grandchildren, J. R. (Tammy) Price, Walter Price and Tiffany (John) Conway; eight great-grandchildren, Charitey Price, Logan Price, Hailey Price, Austin Price, Jamie Price, James Allen Price, Christina Combs and Susan Combs and an aunt, Kathy Luttrell.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m., Tuesday at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Rev. Jerry Lanham will officiate. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Troy Monroe, J.R. Price, Walter Price, Walter Trent, Josh Stratton and Joe Stratton. Phil Taylor will be an honorary pallbearer. Visitation will be from 11 to 1, prior to the service on Tuesday at Stith Funeral Home, Danville.
