Barry Sexton

July 16, 1948 — March 10, 2018

Barry Sexton, 69, Harrodsburg, husband of Karen Marie Kidd Sexton, died Saturday, March 10, 2018 at his home in Harrodsburg.

Born July 16, 1948, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Chester and JoAnn Butler Sexton. He was a retired Excavator for K.U. and attended Danville First Church of God.

Survivors other than his wife include: two sons, Brennan (Katrina) Sexton of Harrodsburg and Brandon ( Saralee) Lenhart of Butler, PA; two sisters, Mary Jo (Ronnie) Keebortz of Harrodsburg and Lori (Tim) Pike of Waxahachie, TX; six grandchildren, Barran Asher Sexton, Kason Brant Sexton, Macaiah Addison Lenhart, Camryn Kidd Lenhart, Ian Eric Lenhart and Raelyn Lesley Lenhart. Barry was preceded in death by two brothers, Brian Scott Sexton and George Sexton.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 5-8 pm at Danville First Church of God.

Funeral services will be held 1PM Thursday at the Danville First Church Of God by Kevin Cummins and Carl McRay. Burial will follow in the Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville. Ransdell Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Chris Cooper, Allen Harlow, Jeff Quiggle, Donnie Chapman, Jerry Thacker and Sonny Thompson. Honorary bearers will be Brett Buchanan, Chuck Adams, Mark Brown, Steve Tully, Donnie Webb, Jimmy Hurley, Steve "Pan Man" Zahn, Bruce Wade and Jeremy Thacker.

Memorials are sugested to Danville First Church of God, 3220 Harrodsburg Rd., Danville, KY 40422.
