Amanda Stratton

Amanda S. Stratton, 42, Harrodsburg, KY, WIFE of Daniel Stratton died Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at the UK Medical Center, Lexington. Born August 19, 1979, in Mercer County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Jerry Reynolds and Bobbie (White) Hancock. Amanda was a retired LPN and was a member of the Southland Christian Church, where she was a Southland Students Group Leader. She was also a foster parent. Survivors include: her mother, Bobbie (John) Hancock, Danville; two daughters, Shiann Katherine Breez Stratton and Searra Danielle Stratton, both of Mercer Co.; two sons, Sybastian Dunn and Jacob Sanchez-Stratton, both of Mercer Co.; grandmother, Mary White, Harrodsburg; a brother, Jerry Allen Reynolds of Mercer Co.; a sister, Linda McClanahan of Mercer Co.; a bonus child, Elijah Cochran; her special companion, Spring Rein. She was preceded in death by a grandparents, Bob White, Lucille Carnes Maupin, and Homer N. Reynolds. Funeral services will be 2:30 PM, Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Jeremy Congdon and David Best. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, KY. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Thursday, and after 8 AM, Friday, Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers are: Braylon Emerson, Seth Taylor, Brayden Wofford, Jerry Allen Reynolds, Anthony Dennis, Greg Collier, John Harris, and Scott Hammons. Honorary bearers are: Amanda's Life Group at Southland Christian Danville Campus. Memorials are suggested to: Burgin Schools, Burgin KY.
