Dolly Payne

Dolly Sue Honaker Payne, 76, of Moreland passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021.  Born February 19, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Grace Ellen Ball Honaker.  Dolly was a member of Eastern Star for over forty years where she was a Deputy Matron.  She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Dolly is survived by her husband, Bobby Lee Payne of 45 years; sons, Mark Boyd of Lexington and Gerald (Melissa) Payne of Virginia; daughters, Angela (Greg) Franklin of Middleburg and Tammy May of Moreland; sisters, Carol (Eugene) Wilson of Junction City and Alice (Curtis) Elkins of Kings Mountain; brothers, Frebert Honaker and Ned Honaker, both of Mitchellsburg; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Visitation is 5-8 pm, Tuesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service is 1 pm, Wednesday with her son, Pastor Gerald Payne officiating.  Burial is in Danville Memorial Gardens. Family requests that all attending visitation or funeral wear a mask.
